Hyderabad: The Telangana Police Jobs recruitment drive may soon move forward as the state government prepares to fill thousands of vacant posts in the Home Department. Officials have identified 17,992 vacancies across different categories and have begun the process to recruit new personnel.
According to sources, authorities prepared detailed proposals outlining the available posts and recruitment requirements. These proposals have now been submitted to the Cabinet Sub Committee for review and approval. Officials said the recruitment process will advance only after the government gives its final clearance.
Meanwhile, the plan aims to strengthen departments that fall under the Home Department. This includes law enforcement and administrative divisions across the state. Therefore, the recruitment drive is expected to address staff shortages and improve operational capacity in several offices.
