Hyderabad, March 29: ASHA workers meet KTR at Gunpark seek support and raised long pending issues during a protest gathering. KTR assured them that he would stand by them and address their concerns.
The meeting took place during a protest by BRS leaders at Gunpark. They demanded action over alleged illegal mining activities. Moreover, KTR and Harish Rao participated in the protest.
ASHA workers highlighted issues related to wages and job security. They demanded implementation of promises made during elections. Therefore, they urged immediate action from the government.

They demanded a minimum wage of Rs 18000 as promised. In addition, they sought release of pending arrears. They also asked for PF, ESI benefits, and job security.
Meanwhile, ASHA workers have been staging protests across the state. However, police stopped several workers during the Chalo Hyderabad event. Many were detained at different locations.
A tense situation developed at RTC Crossroads during the protests. Moreover, workers alleged that police action disrupted peaceful demonstrations. They continued to press for their demands.
KTR assured the workers of his support. He said he would raise their issues and stand with them. The protest continues to draw attention across the state.
