- F35 Fighter Jet Iran claim raises doubts among experts
- Iran F35 Fighter Jet incident no US confirmation yet
Hyderabad, April 3: Iran has claimed that it shot down a second F35 Fighter Jet, escalating tensions and raising questions over the incident. According to reports, the aircraft is believed to have crashed in central Iran, as cited by media. However, there is no official confirmation from the United States.
Reports indicate that the pilot of the F35 Fighter Jet was seriously injured and is unlikely to survive. This marks the second such claim by Iran in recent weeks. Meanwhile, the US Central Command has not issued any statement regarding the development, adding to the uncertainty.
F35 Fighter Jet claim faces expert scrutiny
However, doubts have emerged over the authenticity of the claim. Aerospace experts have questioned the images released by Iranian media. They stated that the photos do not show parts of an F35 Fighter Jet. Instead, they suggest the images resemble components of an F15E fighter aircraft. This has further complicated the situation.
The F35 Fighter Jet is known as a stealth aircraft that can evade radar detection. It operates from highly secure airfields. Therefore, the claim of it being shot down has drawn global attention. At the same time, the lack of confirmation from US authorities has left the matter unresolved.
Meanwhile, this is not the first such claim by Iran. About two weeks ago, Iran stated that it had shot down an F35 Lightning 2 aircraft. This jet is part of the US fifth generation combat capability. During that earlier incident, Tim Hawkins said the aircraft involved in a combat mission made an emergency landing.
In addition, it is known that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps released a video related to the earlier downing claim. However, questions remain about the authenticity of such material. The current claim has again brought focus on the ongoing tensions between Iran and the United States.
The situation remains unclear as both sides have not provided matching accounts. Therefore, the F35 Fighter Jet claim continues to be under scrutiny, with experts and officials awaiting further verification.
