Pachpadra/Hyderabad, April 20 (Maxim News): A fire broke out at the Refinery-cum-Petrochemical Complex in Pachpadra, Balotra, prompting an immediate response from emergency services. Firefighters were deployed to the site to bring the situation under control.
The incident comes just ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Rajasthan on Tuesday, during which he is set to dedicate India’s first greenfield integrated refinery-cum-petrochemical complex at Pachpadra in Balotra to the nation.
The project is considered a major development in India’s energy and petrochemical sector, with an investment exceeding Rs 79,450 crore, according to an official statement. (Maxim News)
