Haj 2026 | Hyderabad, April 22 (Maxim News): Telangana Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammad Azharuddin on Wednesday reviewed arrangements for Haj 2026 and directed officials to provide smooth facilities for pilgrims departing from Hyderabad.
Nearly 10,000 pilgrims are expected to travel through the Hyderabad embarkation point this year. The minister chaired a high level coordination meeting at the Telangana Secretariat in which Chairman’s State Haj Committee Syed Ghulam Afzal Biabani Khusro Pasha; TMREIS Mohd Faheem Qureshi, Waqf Board Syed Azmatullah Hussaini and others were present.
He reviewed accommodation, transport, airport operations, medical support, security, baggage handling and Zam Zam water distribution.
Officials informed the meeting that Haj charter flights operated by Flynas are scheduled from May 4 to May 21, 2026. Return flights from Madina to Hyderabad are planned from June 11 to June 26, 2026.
Haj 2026 Hyderabad Arrangements Reviewed
Azharuddin asked departments to ensure proper stay facilities at Haj House for pilgrims before departure. He also directed teams to speed up documentation and boarding pass services.

Further, he instructed health officials to conduct medical screening and vaccination camps in advance. Dedicated buses will transport pilgrims from Haj House to the airport.
The minister also stressed separate arrangements for women pilgrims. In addition, he asked officials to provide support for senior citizens and ensure aerobridge boarding wherever available.
He directed civic teams to maintain prayer areas, Wazu facilities and sanitation services. Round the clock security and crowd management measures were also reviewed during the meeting.
Senior officials from Hyderabad Police, Airport Authorities, GHMC, RTC, Health Department, TS Transco, Fire Services, BSNL, banks and the Haj Committee attended the meeting and assured coordination.
Officials said the government aims to complete all preparations before the first departure schedule. Hyderabad remains one of the major embarkation centres for Haj pilgrims from Telangana and nearby regions.
The review comes as annual travel preparations begin for pilgrims planning to undertake the pilgrimage later this year.
