Hyderabad, May 6: Kolkata TMC office demolition triggered tension after unidentified groups razed a Trinamool Congress office in the New Market area during midnight hours.
The incident occurred a day after assembly election results. A large group gathered near the Hog Market locality and demolished the TMC union office using a bulldozer. Moreover, videos of the act spread widely on social media.
Eyewitnesses said people waved political flags and raised slogans during the demolition. As a result, panic spread across the busy market area. Traders shut shops and left the locality fearing further violence.
