Hyderabad, May 7 (Maxim News) : A. Revanth Reddy travelled in regular traffic from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad to his residence.
The convoy movement followed fresh instructions issued by the Chief Minister to senior police officials a day earlier. Revanth Reddy directed officials not to stop traffic across the city during his convoy movement.
He also instructed the police department to avoid all measures that cause inconvenience to the public on roads.
Traffic Police Allow Vehicles During Convoy Movement
Following the Chief Minister’s directions, traffic police allowed vehicles to move in a single lane while the convoy passed through the city. Officials avoided complete traffic stoppages during the movement.
Usually, police stop vehicles on several routes during VIP convoy movement for security reasons. However, the latest decision aimed to reduce inconvenience for commuters in Hyderabad.
The move received attention as heavy traffic restrictions during VIP visits often lead to delays for office workers, students, and daily commuters across the city. (Maxim News)
