After hearing submissions from both sides, the High Court allowed anticipatory bail for all 20 accused.
Initially, the Court directed each accused to furnish two sureties of Rs. 15,000 each.
However, the defence counsel informed the Court that the accused belonged to economically weaker sections and were unable to arrange the amount.
Advocate Barkat Ali Khan later filed relaxation petitions seeking modification of the bail conditions.
Taking note of the financial condition of the accused, the High Court reduced the surety amount from Rs. 15,000 each to Rs. 5,000 each.
Family members of the accused expressed gratitude to the advocates for extending legal assistance and representing the case on a pro bono basis.
