Hyderabad, May 15 (Maxim News): A shocking incident was reported in Hyderabad where a young man allegedly died by suicide after claiming that the woman he loved had cheated him.
The incident took place in Kohed village under the limits of Hayathnagar police station.
According to police, the deceased was identified as Pallapu Govardhan, who was reportedly in a relationship with a woman named Saritha for the past four years.
Police said the couple had allegedly married secretly without informing their families and later had a child.
However, tensions reportedly arose after Saritha allegedly sold the child and began preparations to marry another person.
Suicide Note Found During Investigation
Sources said Govardhan came to know about the developments and repeatedly requested Saritha to return to him, but she allegedly refused.
Disturbed over the issue, Govardhan returned home after completing his night duty on Tuesday and locked himself inside the house on Wednesday morning.
When he did not come out till evening, his sister reportedly broke open the door with the help of neighbours and found him unconscious.
Locals informed the police, who reached the spot and shifted the body for postmortem examination.
Police recovered a suicide note in which Govardhan allegedly blamed his wife for his death.
Investigators also found details related to his mobile phone password in the note. Police suspect he may have recorded conversations and other information on his phone before taking the extreme step.
According to preliminary investigation, Govardhan was deeply upset after learning that Saritha was allegedly preparing for another marriage and had reportedly made him assist with arrangements.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
Officials said the whereabouts of the child allegedly sold by the woman are still unknown, and efforts are underway to trace the child and verify all claims mentioned in the complaint and suicide note. (Maxim News)
