Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay’s mother Shakuntala suffered a heart attack at her residence in Karimnagar on Friday.
According to sources, she complained of chest pain and breathing difficulty at her home on Friday afternoon. Family members immediately shifted her to a private hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, for treatment.
Doctors at the hospital reportedly performed an angioplasty procedure after medical examination.
Sources close to the family said her condition is currently stable and she remains under medical observation.
Bandi Sanjay Rushes To Hyderabad Hospital
After receiving information about his mother’s health condition, Bandi Sanjay rushed to the hospital and spoke to doctors regarding her treatment and recovery.
Hospital sources said senior cardiology specialists are monitoring her condition closely.
The sudden health emergency triggered concern among supporters and party leaders from Karimnagar and Hyderabad.
Several BJP leaders and well wishers reportedly contacted the family to enquire about her health condition.
