Hyderabad, May 16: Comments made by N Ramchander Rao on the POCSO case involving Sai Bhageerath have gone viral on social media.
The remarks were made during Conclave 2026 after questions were raised about political parties meeting and supporting the victim in the case.
Earlier, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said at the same event that Sai Bhageerath was still absconding.
During the discussion, Ramchander Rao was asked whether opposition parties should meet the complainant and demand justice from the government.
Responding to the question, the BJP leader said his party was not in power. He added that it was the responsibility of the ruling party and police to handle such matters.
His comments quickly spread across social media platforms and triggered political discussion online.
The POCSO case against Sai Bhageerath is currently under investigation. Cyberabad Police are continuing efforts to trace and question him in connection with the allegations.
