Participants discussed major challenges faced by industrial enterprises, including fragmented data systems, legacy OT-IT integration barriers, inconsistent data standards, limited contextual labelling of machine data, and the difficulty of scaling AI across complex industrial environments.

The sessions highlighted that successful Industrial AI deployment depends not only on advanced algorithms but also on strong data engineering, governance frameworks and reliable data infrastructure.

The event was chaired by Sekhar Konidena, Vice President – Product and Services at Octave, who spoke about the company’s efforts in solving real-world industrial problems through AI-driven technologies.

Speaking on the occasion, Sekhar Konidena said Industrial AI is fundamentally a data challenge rather than merely an algorithm challenge. He stressed that organisations aiming to scale AI successfully must build unified and continuously evolving data foundations.

Suresh Kadambari stated that Industrial AI is often limited by the maturity of the underlying data ecosystem rather than model sophistication. He said enterprises require context-aware, interoperable and resilient data infrastructures to move AI from experimentation to dependable industrial intelligence.
