Kolkata/Hyderabad, May 27 (Maxim News): The TMC led by Mamata Banerjee who ruled the West Bengal state for 15 years and lost power in the recent Assembly elections, is likely to suffer an irreparable blow. While many leaders are already leaving the party, now there is a campaign that MLAs and MPs are getting ready to say goodbye to TMC. This was revealed by BJP MP from Bengal, Soumitra Khan. Soumitra Khan announced that 50 MLAs and 20 MPs from TMC are ready to leave the party and join the BJP.
Saumitra said that all of them are unhappy with the TMC party and have told the BJP leaders about it. He revealed that they are waiting for the approval of the party elders to join the BJP. Saumitra Khan commented that if the approval is received from the BJP central leadership, TMC MPs and MLAs will join the BJP, which will surely wipe out the TMC from the state. However, the TMC says that there is no truth in the allegations made by Saumitra Khan. They were angry that Saumitra Khan is spreading false propaganda that party leaders will join the BJP. TMC MP Saugata Roy said that the saffron party is looking to benefit from false propaganda.
He said that the BJP is deliberately spreading false propaganda and that none of their leaders are likely to leave the party. The recently-elected BJP government is filing corruption cases against TMC leaders. It is being said that many people are leaning towards the BJP out of fear of these cases. The ED is conducting raids on TMC leaders. The ED recently arrested former minister Sujit Bose. Recently, 100 councilors of the TMC have resigned from the party. There is a rumor that other big leaders are also ready to resign. With leaders leaving the party one after another, it will not be easy for the TMC to recover. (Maxim News)
