The health camp was inaugurated by K. Shireesha, Assistant Director, Eco Tourism Division, who inspected the medical facilities and interacted with participants. The programme was conducted in collaboration with a team of doctors and healthcare professionals from Sri Sri Holistic Hospitals.

Speaking on the occasion, Shireesha said the Botanical Garden receives nearly 3,000 walkers every day. She noted that many people often ignore minor health issues, which can lead to serious complications later. Therefore, the camp focused on early detection and preventive care.

A team of specialists, including General Physician Dr Nikhil, Dietitian Dr Prathysha and Ayurvedic expert Dr Rajya Laxmi, provided free consultations. The camp also offered diagnostic services such as blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, weight assessment, ECG, 2D Echo screenings and eye examinations at no cost.

The Mega Free Health Camp received an encouraging response from visitors. A total of 372 walkers and garden visitors availed themselves of the free health services and medical consultations.
