Hyderabad, June 8 (Maxim News): Residents of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh may finally get relief from the intense summer heat as weather conditions are turning favorable for the arrival of the Southwest Monsoon. Meteorologists have indicated that the monsoon is expected to become active across Telangana by June 10, bringing widespread Heavy Rains and a significant drop in temperatures.
For the past several weeks, both Telugu states have been experiencing hot and humid conditions. However, changing atmospheric patterns are now setting the stage for rain-bearing systems to move into the region.
Weather experts say the Southwest Monsoon is progressing steadily from both the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. The system is expected to strengthen further over the next few days, increasing rainfall activity across Telangana and parts of Andhra Pradesh.
The development is expected to bring much-needed relief from the scorching temperatures that have affected daily life in several districts.
Low-Pressure Area Likely to Form in Bay of Bengal
Meteorological observations indicate favorable conditions for the formation of a low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal. Strengthening southwest winds and atmospheric circulations near the Tamil Nadu-Sri Lanka region are being closely monitored by weather agencies.

Weather analysts point to large-scale atmospheric changes over the southern hemisphere that are helping strengthen monsoon circulation over the Indian Ocean.
