Appearing before the committee, Chandrasekhar Reddy submitted a written response addressing the allegations. He reportedly claimed that the Congress party had failed to achieve electoral success in Kamareddy for nearly two decades due to the leadership style and conduct of Shabbir Ali.

He also urged the party leadership to relieve Shabbir Ali of key responsibilities, alleging that his actions were damaging the organization in the constituency.

The controversy comes amid ongoing factional differences within the district unit. Party leaders said the disciplinary committee is examining the complaints and responses submitted by both sides.
