Hyderabad, june 24 (Maxim News): Groups of monkey are terrorizing people in several colonies in Bhagyanagar. Recently, a group of monkeys that entered the residential area of Vidyanagar in Hyderabad suddenly attacked a woman. The locals were in a state of panic due to this incident.
A large number of monkeys entered Vidyanagar Colony and started roaming around houses and roads. In this sequence, a group of monkeys suddenly attacked a woman who was walking on the street. Due to this unexpected accident, the monkeys attacked her before she could escape. The woman was seriously injured in the attack and bled profusely. Hearing her screams, the locals immediately reached the spot and scared away the monkeys. Later, the seriously injured woman was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Locals are expressing their concern that monkeys are roaming in groups in the colonies around Vidyanagar, making children and the elderly afraid to come out of their homes. The monkeys are constantly causing trouble to people by damaging things in their houses, tearing clothes, and snatching food items if they are in their hands. The colony residents are demanding that the GHMC and Forest Department officials respond immediately to this problem.
People are appealing to set up special traps to catch monkeys that are attacking residential areas, capture them and move them to safe forest areas away from the city. (Maxim News)
