Hyderabad voter roll revision | Hyderabad, June 25 (Maxim News): The Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls will begin on Thursday in all 15 Assembly constituencies of Hyderabad district and continue until July 24, with Booth Level Officers carrying out door-to-door verification of voters.
A total of 4,062 Booth Level Officers will cover 4,062 polling stations across the district. The officials will visit households from 9 am to 6 pm every day to distribute enumeration forms and verify voter details.
During the revision drive, electors will have to provide accurate information and confirm their registration status to establish themselves as genuine voters.

According to officials, voters can fill the enumeration form even if they do not receive it from the Booth Level Officer. They can also use the “Book a Call” facility through the contact numbers of BLOs available on the Chief Electoral Officer’s website and the ECINET app.
As of June 10, Hyderabad district had 47,36,669 electors. This included 23,99,880 male voters, 23,36,448 female voters and 341 third-gender voters. Officials said that as of May 26, 22,09,647 voters had been mapped, taking the mapping percentage to 46.65.
During the house visits, BLOs will distribute pre-printed enumeration forms in duplicate to existing electors. Voters must fill in the required details and return the forms. They can also verify their information through the official websites of the Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana, and the Election Commission.
Help desks have been set up at all 15 Electoral Registration Officer offices, besides the offices of the District Election Officer and the GHMC Commissioner, to assist voters during the revision process.
Officials said a change of address can be made only after the publication of the draft electoral roll on July 31 through Form 8. If a voter is unavailable, any adult member of the family can fill and sign the enumeration form on the elector’s behalf and submit it.
Providing Aadhaar details in the form is optional, officials clarified. After the verification process is completed, an “Enumeration Completed” sticker will be placed on each household. (Maxim News)
