Hyderabad, June 28: The Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at Army College of Dental Sciences (ACDS), Secunderabad, hosted KALEIDOSCOPE 5 2K26 National CONS ENDO Conference from June 25 to 27, bringing together dental professionals, researchers and students from across India.
The conference focused on advances in restorative dentistry and endodontics and created a platform for academic interaction, clinical learning and research exchange.
KALEIDOSCOPE 5 Highlights Dental Research and Innovation
Dr. Mamta Kaushik, Principal of ACDS, welcomed Dr. Sanjay Tewari, Chairperson of the National Dental Commission, Dr. Dibyendu Mazumdar, former President of the Dental Council of India, and delegates attending the event.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sanjay Tewari appreciated the efforts of the institution and stressed the importance of student centric and student friendly conferences and academic programmes across the country.
The conference attracted 171 delegates and featured nearly 100 scientific paper and poster presentations. Participants presented current research findings, clinical innovations and evidence based treatment approaches.
Experts from leading dental institutions delivered sessions on emerging trends and developments in conservative dentistry and endodontics. Interactive discussions encouraged knowledge sharing and professional collaboration.

Hands on workshops were conducted in dental photography, indirect composite restorations and microscopic endodontics to strengthen practical clinical skills.
An intercollegiate quiz competition was also organised to encourage student participation and academic engagement.
The conference concluded with a valedictory ceremony where organisers recognised the best paper, poster and quiz presentations. The event reflected ACDS’s continued focus on quality dental education, research and clinical excellence.
