Telangana Turned Into ATM for Delhi Darbar: Nitin Nabeen

Hyderabad, June 30 (Maxim News): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabeen on Tuesday accused the Congress government of turning Telangana into an “ATM for the Delhi Darbar” and alleged that public funds collected in the state were being diverted to the party’s central leadership instead of serving the people.

Addressing the BJP State Executive Meeting at Aushapur Rock Enclave in Medchal Malkajgiri district, Nabeen claimed that the people of Telangana were ready to support the BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said the BJP had fulfilled the promises it made in the states where it formed governments and asserted that the Centre had transformed the country during the past 12 years.

Nabeen urged BJP leaders and workers to take the Central government’s welfare and development programmes to every household. He said dedicated party workers had played a key role in expanding the BJP’s presence in states such as West Bengal despite facing hardships and political violence.

Continuing his attack on the Congress government, Nabeen alleged that the state had imposed an “RR Tax” and claimed that Telangana’s resources were flowing to the Congress high command in Delhi. He said the Congress had reduced Telangana to an ATM for the “Delhi Darbar” instead of focusing on the state’s development.

He also accused the Congress government of failing to fulfil the six guarantees promised during the Assembly elections. According to him, the government had not implemented even one guarantee in its true spirit. He further alleged that corruption and criminalisation had increased under the Congress administration.

Nabeen also claimed that the Congress, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), and the All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) were working together politically. He alleged that the poor and weaker sections continued to face injustice under the present government.

Furthermore, he called upon BJP workers to strengthen the party at the grassroots level and connect with voters by highlighting the achievements of the Narendra Modi government. He expressed confidence that the BJP would continue to expand its support base in Telangana.
