SIR verification in Malakpet | Hyderabad, July 8 (Maxim News): District Election Officer (DEO) and GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan, on wednesday inspected the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) activities in the Malakpet Assembly constituency and directed election officials to complete the voter verification process within the stipulated timeline.
Accompanied by the Charminar Zonal Commissioner, the DEO visited Polling Stations 274 and 283 in Chanchalguda and Chawni areas, where he reviewed the door-to-door enumeration process and interacted with local residents. He also clarified voters’ queries regarding the SIR exercise.

Reviewing the distribution of SIR Enumeration Forms at the field level, Karnan instructed officials to strictly adhere to the Election Commission of India (ECI) guidelines while ensuring smooth and efficient services to voters.
He directed Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs), BLO Supervisors, Booth Level Officers (BLOs), and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) to complete all assigned tasks within the prescribed deadline and ensure that every eligible voter receives the necessary assistance during the verification process.
The DEO stressed that the SIR exercise should be carried out transparently and efficiently to ensure the preparation of an accurate and error-free electoral roll. (Maxim News)
