Indiramma Housing Programme Launched In Hyderabad, Azharuddin Reaffirms Focus On Education And Housing

Hyderabad, July 20 (Maxim News): Telangana Minorities Welfare and Public Enterprises Minister Mohammed Azharuddin on Monday participated in the launch of the Indiramma Housing Programme for the Core Urban Region (CURE) at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat.

He said the initiative reflects the state government’s commitment to providing quality housing and education for every eligible family.

The programme was launched in the presence of Revenue, Housing, Information and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, and senior officials.

Azharuddin described the launch of the Indiramma Housing Programme in Hyderabad as a major milestone. He said the scheme would help thousands of deserving families achieve the dream of owning a house.

Indiramma Housing Programme Strengthens Welfare Vision

The minister said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has given top priority to education and housing since the formation of the present government. He added that these two sectors play a vital role in building a strong and progressive Telangana.

Furthermore, Azharuddin said quality education remains the foundation of the state’s future. He noted that the government aims to achieve 100 percent literacy by ensuring that every boy and girl has access to quality education.

He said the government has already launched several initiatives to improve educational standards. Moreover, he stated that additional programmes will follow to strengthen the education sector further.

According to the minister, an educated society creates the foundation for long term development. Therefore, the government continues to invest in education alongside welfare programmes.

Azharuddin also stressed that the Indiramma Housing Programme represents one of the state’s most significant welfare initiatives. He said the government remains committed to ensuring that every eligible beneficiary receives the support needed to own a permanent home.

The minister appreciated the efforts of the district administration, particularly the Collector and other officials, for successfully implementing the housing programme in Hyderabad. He said their coordination helped bring the project to the city smoothly.

Meanwhile, he appealed to the media and the public to view the scheme positively. He said the programme would directly improve the lives of thousands of families across Hyderabad.
