Hyderabad, August 2: The Mancherial Task Force arrested five persons for allegedly organising and participating in gambling activities at a house in Somagudem village on Saturday night.
According to the police, the Task Force conducted a raid on the house following specific information about the alleged gambling activity.
During the operation, officers seized ₹1.10 lakh in cash, five mobile phones, and three motorcycles believed to be connected with the case.
The five accused were taken into custody at the spot.
Police said the arrested individuals were later handed over to the Kasipet Police Station for further legal proceedings.
A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to ascertain the full details of the gambling operation and whether others were involved.
