Hyderabad, August 5: A 24-year-old Hyderabad woman has reportedly gone missing in Dubai months after relocating to the United Arab Emirates for employment. Her family has approached the police seeking urgent assistance to trace her whereabouts.
The woman, a resident of Hyderabad’s Old City, travelled to Dubai in August last year after completing her medical education. She reportedly secured a job at a hospital to support her family following the death of its sole breadwinner.
According to family members, they remained in regular contact with her during the initial months of her stay in Dubai. However, communication stopped several months ago, and both of her mobile numbers have remained switched off since then.
The family said they made repeated efforts to trace her through relatives and contacts in Dubai but failed to obtain any information about her whereabouts.
Following the unsuccessful search, the family lodged a missing person complaint with the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) Police in Shamshabad on Tuesday.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to trace the woman and ascertain the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
