Hyderabad, August 5: Telangana Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Wednesday said the Saidabad Steel Bridge will be inaugurated soon, providing major relief to commuters in Hyderabad. He inspected the project along with Minister Mohammed Azharuddin.
The Minister said the construction of the Saidabad Steel Bridge has been completed at an estimated cost of around Rs. 680 crore. The bridge connects Chanchalguda Jail with Owaisi Hospital and Champapet, aiming to improve traffic movement in the eastern parts of the city.
Saidabad Steel Bridge to Ease Traffic
Ponnam Prabhakar said Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the bridge shortly. He added that the project is expected to reduce traffic congestion in Saidabad, Santosh Nagar and Chanchalguda.
The Minister also reviewed the progress of the Musarambagh Bridge and said both infrastructure projects would be opened for public use soon.
He further stated that construction of the KBR Park flyover is progressing rapidly. According to him, the State government is prioritising infrastructure projects to improve traffic flow and strengthen public transport connectivity across Hyderabad.
The inspection was conducted to assess the final stage of works before the projects are commissioned.
