Bhatti Expressed Happiness Over First Coal Train From Naini Mine Reached STPP

Mancherial/Hyderabad, Aug 6 (Maxim News):Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka has expressed happiness over the arrival of coal from Naini block in Odisha to the Singareni Thermal Power Project (STPP) in Jaipur, Mancherial district. He described it as a historic event. On Thursday, a railway wagon with a load of coal arrived from Naini block for this thermal power project. In this context, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka responded. He said that steps are being taken to ensure that there is no power shortage in the state. He clarified that his government will provide full support to the Singareni Thermal Power Project.

He reminded that Singareni coal is crucial for the country’s needs. He said that efforts will continue for new coal blocks. Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka said on this occasion that Singareni will be protected. He explained that the shortage of the Singareni Thermal Power Project has been met with the arrival of coal from Naini mines. As soon as the train wagon reached Singareni Thermal Power Project (STPP), senior officials welcomed it.

A total of 4,000 tonnes of G-10 grade coal in 59 box wagons reached Jaipur from Naini mine in Odisha on Thursday morning. This is the first time in the 136-year history of Singareni Collieries that coal production from a mine outside the state has been achieved and transported to its own thermal plant.(Maxim News)
