Hyderabad, August 17: The Ministry of Railways has approved the regular operation of the Charlapalli Gorakhpur Amrit Bharat Weekly Express.
Train Nos. 22075 and 22076 will replace the existing Charlapalli Gorakhpur weekly special service.
The new service will become the sixth Amrit Bharat Express from the twin cities. It will also be the seventh Amrit Bharat Express passing through Telangana.
Charlapalli Gorakhpur Train to Run Weekly
Train No. 22075 will operate from Charlapalli to Gorakhpur every Friday from October 2. The return service, Train No. 22076, will run every Sunday from October 4.
The Amrit Bharat Express is a non AC superfast service designed for affordable long distance travel.
The train will have general unreserved and sleeper class coaches. It will use push pull technology to improve acceleration and reduce travel time.
The coaches will also feature sealed gangways and charging points at every seat.
The service will operate at speeds of around 110 to 130 kmph. It aims to provide affordable and modern travel for lower and lower middle income passengers.
