Hyderabad, August 30: GHMC Commissioner R. V. Karnan, IAS, inspected the ongoing works at the Moosarambagh Bridge and Nalgonda Flyover along with senior officials on Sunday.
The inspection was conducted to review the project status and ensure that the remaining works are completed before the proposed inaugurations.
The Moosarambagh Bridge work has been completed, strengthening connectivity between Amberpet, Malakpet, Dilsukhnagar and Nagole. Commissioner Karnan directed officials to keep all necessary arrangements ready for the bridge inauguration.
Nalgonda Flyover Works Near Completion
At the Nalgonda Flyover, the main flyover has also been completed. The Commissioner instructed officials to complete the A4 up-ramp by the same day.
He further directed officials to finish the A3 side ramp towards Champapet within two to three days. The completion of these remaining works is expected to pave the way for the flyover’s inauguration.
Once opened to traffic, the Nalgonda Flyover is expected to provide significant relief to commuters travelling through several busy areas of south Hyderabad.


These include Chanchalguda, Saidabad, Santosh Nagar, IS Sadan, Owaisi Hospital, Kanchan Bagh, Champapet and Sagar Road.
The two infrastructure projects are expected to improve traffic movement and strengthen connectivity across key parts of Hyderabad.
During the inspection, the GHMC Commissioner was accompanied by the Chief Engineer, Assistant Commissioner (Sanitation) and other GHMC officials.
