Hyderabad, Sept. 2: Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar and GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan inspected the one way traffic system around KBR Park.
The inspection came 15 days after the new traffic pattern was introduced on August 18.
The officials reviewed traffic conditions and feedback from motorists at key junctions. These included Film Nagar, Journalist Colony, Road No. 45, Jubilee Hills Checkpost and KBR Park Main Gate.
One Way Traffic Review Focuses on Road Improvements
Officials identified bottlenecks where vehicle movement slows down. They said selective road widening could help maintain smoother traffic flow.
The officials directed departments to speed up road widening works. They also ordered immediate road repairs at high density locations.
They further directed officials to address drainage problems along the affected stretches.
Special attention was given to the Film Nagar Junction to Road No. 45 Junction stretch. Officials ordered the shifting of electric poles, water lines, drainage networks and other utilities blocking road expansion.
Sajjanar and Karnan thanked citizens and commuters for cooperating with the one way traffic system. The system was introduced to support flyover construction under the H City project.
Joint CP Traffic D. Joel Davis, DCP Traffic Kajal Singh and TGSPDCL CMD Jitesh V. Patil also attended the inspection. Senior engineers and officials from various departments were present.
