Amravathi, Sept. 4 (Maxim News): Telugu Desam Party TDP has reached more than one crore households through its Intintiki Telugu Desam 2026 campaign. The programme marks two years of the coalition government in Andhra Pradesh.
Minister Nara Lokesh praised party leaders and workers for achieving the milestone. He shared his appreciation through a post on the social media platform X.
The campaign carries the theme “Two Years of Trust, Development and Welfare”. It aims to take the coalition government’s welfare and development work directly to households.
Ministers, MLAs, party in-charges and grassroots workers took part in the campaign. They visited households across the state and explained the government’s work over the past two years.
The campaign also focused on local public concerns. Party workers asked families about problems in their areas and recorded their requests.
Lokesh said party workers then took these grievances to the attention of the government machinery. He described this process as an important part of the campaign.
TDP credits workers for one crore household outreach
According to Lokesh, party leaders also explained the government’s economic and development priorities during the visits. These included efforts to improve the state’s finances after the previous government’s policies.
They also highlighted new industrial policies and employment initiatives. Infrastructure development also formed a key part of their discussions with households.
Lokesh said the response from people during the visits showed their confidence in the coalition government. However, the claim reflects the party’s assessment of the public response.
He credited TDP workers and grassroots activists for the campaign’s reach. He said their sustained efforts helped the programme cross the one crore household milestone.
The minister urged party members to continue their work with the same commitment. He said the party should focus on taking Andhra Pradesh’s development forward.
The campaign also gives the TDP a direct platform to communicate with households. At the same time, it allows party workers to collect feedback on local issues.
The programme comes as the coalition government completes two years in office. The TDP says the campaign combines welfare communication with direct public outreach.
The one crore household milestone now stands as a major organisational achievement for the party. Lokesh has called on the party cadre to build on the momentum and continue engaging with people across the state. (Maxim News)
