Hyderabad, Sept 4 (Maxim News): DCP Rithiraj revealed that 8 students have been detained in the clash between two groups in the Kukatpally JNTU hostel. He said that three more are absconding. He said that they are searching for them. He said that a case has been registered and an investigation is underway into the clash between the students. Speaking at a press conference in Kukatpally on Friday, the DCP said that a clash took place between students in JNTU on Thursday.

It was stated that one student was injured. It was said that initially a girl had a problem and she complained to her friend.
DCP Rithiraj said that while two people were talking, the argument escalated into a group fight. He said that he would talk to the college principal and warden about the entire matter. However, he reminded them that one of the students was intoxicated. Did he come here after drinking alcohol outside? Or did he drink inside the hostel?
