Hyderabad, Sept. 18: EThames Business School has announced the second edition of the EThames TeenCEO Challenge 2026 for school and Intermediate students.
The announcement was made at a press conference at the EThames campus in Khajaguda, Gachibowli, on Wednesday.
The experiential leadership and business immersion programme aims to give students early exposure to entrepreneurship and career skills.
The first edition saw participation from around 3,000 students representing more than 30 schools.
EThames TeenCEO Challenge Focuses on Career Skills
Education leaders at the event called for greater focus on problem solving, personality development and early career exposure.
Former ISB Dean Ajit Rangnekar said schools should prepare students for life rather than only examinations.
An education panel also discussed career choices among teenagers. Speakers said students need exposure to different fields before making career decisions.
Retired bureaucrat and education advocate Kali Prasad Gadiraju highlighted the role of newspapers in shaping students’ personalities.
He also spoke about the impact of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies on employment.
Gadiraju said AI and related technologies could displace 92 million jobs while creating 170 million new jobs.
He questioned whether students are prepared for the changing employment landscape.
The EThames TeenCEO Challenge 2026 is designed to provide students with experiential learning opportunities.
The programme will focus on leadership, business understanding, problem solving and other skills relevant to future careers.
