Arutla Muslim Community | Hyderabad, Sept. 21: The Muslim community of Arutla village in Ranga Reddy district has thanked Telangana Minister Mohammad Azharuddin for taking up long pending welfare requests.
The requests concern a compound wall around the local Muslim graveyard and the use of an unused government building as a community mini function hall.
The Minority Welfare Department acted on a representation submitted by the Masjid e Madina Arutla Committee. An official memorandum dated August 17, 2026, forwarded the representation to the Ranga Reddy District Collector and Magistrate.
The memorandum asked the district administration to examine the issues and submit a detailed report to the government. The report will help authorities consider further action on the requests.
Community members said they submitted the representation to Azharuddin during his visit to Telangana Public School in Arutla. They also explained the difficulties linked to the two pending issues.
The community has welcomed the movement of the representation through the government system. However, the official memorandum records the forwarding of the request for examination. It does not confirm that the requested works have received final approval.
Arutla Muslim Community Seeks Action on Welfare Requests
The proposed compound wall remains a key request concerning the Muslim graveyard in Arutla. Community members said the work has remained pending for a long period.
They have also sought the conversion of an unused government building into a Muslim community mini function hall. The facility could provide a local venue for community programmes if authorities approve the proposal.
Community representatives said the government process has given them hope that the issues will receive further consideration. They welcomed the decision to forward the representation to the district administration.
“For the Arutla community, these are important long-pending needs. We are happy that our representation was taken up at the government level and that the matter has moved forward,” community members said.
The response has also received support from Muslim elders, youth and other members of the minority community in the village.
Arutla Muslim Community Sends Matter to Collector
The official memorandum marks the latest administrative step in the matter. It directs the Ranga Reddy district administration to examine the representation and provide a detailed report.
The Collector’s report will allow the government to assess the requests through the concerned authorities. Further action will depend on the findings and the government’s decision.
The community has expressed appreciation to Azharuddin and the Minority Welfare Department for taking up the representation. Members said they now expect the administrative process to move ahead.
At present, the memorandum confirms examination and reporting by the district administration. It does not confirm completion of the compound wall or conversion of the government building.
The Arutla community has therefore welcomed the administrative movement while awaiting further action from the concerned authorities.
