Hyderabad, Sept. 27: Union Minister Kishan Reddy criticised Rahul Gandhi over his demand for Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation and his remarks about the Election Commission.
Kishan Reddy said Rahul Gandhi appeared to be losing discretion in his statements. He also questioned the Congress leader’s criticism of the constitutional body.
Kishan Reddy Criticises Congress Over Election Commission Remarks
Kishan Reddy said the Election Commission would not work to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister. He questioned the Congress party’s criticism of the poll body.
He also asked whether the Congress considers the Election Commission fair only when it wins elections. According to Kishan Reddy, the party alleges irregularities when it loses.
Furthermore, the Union Minister accused the Congress of lacking the right to criticise the BJP, democracy and the Election Commission. He said people were unhappy with the allegations made by Rahul Gandhi and the Congress.
Kishan Reddy also condemned remarks by parties supporting the Congress on the Election Commission issue.
