Hyderabad, Oct. 2 (Maxim News): BJP MP Raghunandan Rao has demanded a probe by a sitting judge into the assets of Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR).
Speaking to reporters in Ramachandrapuram in Sangareddy district on Friday, Raghunandan Rao challenged Revanth Reddy and KTR to write to the Telangana High Court seeking the inquiry. He said they should do so by Monday.
Raghunandan Rao said he would write to the High Court himself if the two leaders did not respond by the deadline.
He also proposed that all three could jointly approach a sitting judge and request an inquiry.
The BJP MP further said he was ready to have his own assets examined as part of the proposed inquiry.
His remarks come amid an ongoing political exchange between the Congress and BRS over the assets of their leaders and families.
Raghunandan Rao Challenges Revanth and KTR

The latest demand follows comments by KTR challenging Revanth Reddy to agree to a judicial probe into the assets of their respective families.
KTR had said the inquiry should be conducted by a sitting judge of the High Court or Supreme Court.
He also said he was ready to face legal consequences if any wrongdoing was established.
The issue gained fresh attention after Revanth Reddy made allegations concerning KTR’s assets during a public meeting in Sircilla.
KTR subsequently challenged the Chief Minister to seek a judicial inquiry into the assets of both families.
Raghunandan Rao has now brought the BJP into the dispute by proposing a three-way challenge involving himself, Revanth Reddy and KTR.
The BJP MP also alleged that leaders in the Congress and BRS were involved in wrongdoing. Those remarks are political allegations and have not been established as findings by a court or investigative agency.
No judicial inquiry involving the three leaders has been announced based on Raghunandan Rao’s latest statement. (Maxim News)
