Medak/Hyderabad, Oct 4 (Maxim News): Union Minister Kishan Reddy commented that India is at the forefront of milk production in the world . He said that Telangana should play a key role in the White Revolution. Today (Sunday), the foundation stone of the first state-of-the-art plant (Sabar Dairy Telangana Project) of Amul Company was laid in Brahmanapalli in Toopran Mandal of Medak District. Union Minister Kishan Reddy, State Ministers Sridhar Babu, Gaddam Vivek Venkataswamy, MP Raghunandan Rao, the company chairman and other high-ranking officials participated in this program. After the foundation stone, an interview was held with the farmers. Kishan Reddy spoke on the occasion.
Amul industry is being set up with Rs. 400 crores.
Kishan Reddy said that the ground breaking ceremony was held for the establishment of Amul Dairy in Toopran in the heart of Telangana. He revealed that this industry is being set up with Rs. 400 crores. He said that the construction of this plant will be completed in the next 18 months. He said that this industry will provide employment opportunities to local youth and women. He said that it is a happy thing that such industries are coming to Telangana. He said that politics has entered the cooperative society in the villages and it has become weak. He suggested that these cooperative societies should be reconstructed. He said that all the farmers should form a cooperative society together.
