Hyderabad, Oct. 6: Tolichowki police booked a case against a man for allegedly assaulting a TGSRTC bus driver during a road rage incident on October 3.
Police identified the suspect as Zeeshan. According to police, his car allegedly scraped an RTC bus travelling from Gowlidoddi to Koti.
Police said Zeeshan then positioned his car in front of the bus and allegedly stopped the driver, Mohd Azam. He allegedly abused and assaulted Azam, causing bleeding injuries.
Conductor Allegedly Pushed During Dispute
Police said conductor P. Laxmaiah intervened after the alleged assault. Zeeshan allegedly pushed him away and damaged the conductor’s ticket issuing machine.
He also allegedly misbehaved with female passengers on the bus and threatened the driver and conductor before leaving the spot in his car.
Based on Azam’s complaint, Tolichowki police registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
