Maharashtra upgraded Salman Khan’s security to the Y+ category in November 2022 following reported threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

The Central government granted Kangana Ranaut Y+ security in September 2020 amid controversy surrounding her remarks about Mumbai.

Akshay Kumar has also been reported to receive X-category protection. Reports have stated that celebrities may bear the cost of certain security arrangements.
6. Anupam Kher — X-category security
Anupam Kher reportedly received X-category security following a threat assessment after the release of The Kashmir Files.
7. Aamir Khan — Local police or private security
Aamir Khan has reportedly received local police protection or private security depending on specific circumstances. The level of protection may vary according to threat assessments.

The Central government reportedly granted filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri Y-category security in March 2022 following concerns about his safety after The Kashmir Files was released.
