IndiGo Extends Saudi Flights Cancellation Till November 14

Hyderabad, Oct. 28: IndiGo has extended flight cancellations to and from four Saudi Arabian cities until November 14, 2026, citing continuing airspace restrictions and regional security concerns.

In a travel advisory issued on Wednesday, October 28, the airline confirmed that services connecting Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Madinah would remain suspended until the revised deadline.

The extension affects passengers travelling between India and Saudi Arabia for work, family visits and religious pilgrimages.

IndiGo said its teams were contacting affected passengers and providing updates and assistance. The airline also said it was monitoring developments and coordinating with relevant authorities.

Saudi Flight Disruptions Affect Indian Travellers

The extended cancellations come amid continuing security concerns affecting aviation operations in Saudi Arabia. Recent attacks and airspace restrictions have prompted airlines to review their schedules and suspend selected services.

The disruption has particularly affected Indian Umrah pilgrims travelling to and from the kingdom. Some passengers have faced difficulties arranging alternative flights and returning to India.

The Consulate General of India in Jeddah has been coordinating assistance for affected Indian nationals. Its efforts include helping travellers access essential supplies and exploring alternative travel arrangements with airlines and community organisations.

IndiGo reiterated that passenger and crew safety remained its priority. The airline said it would communicate further changes as the situation develops.

Passengers booked on affected routes should check their flight status before travelling to the airport. They should also contact IndiGo or their travel agents regarding cancellations, refunds and alternative arrangements.

The November 14 deadline reflects the airline’s latest advisory. Passengers should monitor official announcements because further schedule changes remain possible.
