BJP, Congress Did Nothing For BCs: Jogu Ramanna

Minister for BC Welfare and Forest Jogu Ramanna said it was a matter of regret that PM Modi, who himself hails from a backward community, had done nothing for the betterment of Backward Classes and had not even bothered to give statutory body status to the BC Commission.

Speaking to mediapersons at the TRSLP office here, the Minister attacked both Congress and BJP stating that even 71 years after Independence, there was no development with regard to BCs in the country. “In Telangana State, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has implemented scores of novel initiatives for the betterment of the BC community in the State,” he said.
