Industries and IT Minister K T Rama Rao on Friday consoled the family members of Telangana Rashtra Samithi worker Veeraboina Devaiah, who was killed by his rivals at Kothapalli of Gambiraopet mandal on Wednesday.
It may be recalled that the accused Vanga Sandeep had attacked Devaiah with a knife from behind while he was having food at a function.
Husband of Kothapalli MPTC Chandrakala, Devaiah was a staunch follower of Rama Rao. Old rivalry was the main reason behind the murder of Devaiah, who was also mandal president of Yadava Sangham.
