Hyderabad, Aug.24 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today made a visit to Kongara Kalan site where Pragathi Nivedan meeting will be conducted on September 2. The TRS leadership was involved in making the arrangements for the gigantic program to be attended by over 25 lakh people.
KCR inspected the site and interacted with the leaders and made some instructions on making fool proof arrangements for the mega event. He asked Rachakonda police commissioner Mahesh Bhagavath to ensure that no inconvenience is caused to people using Outer Ring Road (ORR) on the same day while a large number of people using the same route to reach out from districts to Kongara Kalan site. He asked the TRS leaders to make use of the party funds to build some more parallel roads for smooth passage of the people to reach the Pragathi Nivedan site.
Touted as one of biggest ever public meeting in the past four and half years of his stint at the Chief Minister KCR is likely to clear the rumours on the much talked about early assembly elections. He might whistle a poll bugle for that matter irrespective of the early elections or on time elections. KCR is to portray all the welfare schemes and development programs and is to announce a wholly of schemes or sops to sectors left untouched so far.
During his visit to the venue, the Chief Minister discussed the arrangements with the party leaders as well as Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagawat and other officials. He suggested that besides huge parking facility, public attending the meeting should have access to drinking water and toilets without fail. He also asked the police authorities to ensure that commuters especially those travelling by the Outer Ring Road (ORR), do not face any trouble due to traffic jams caused by huge influx of people attending the meeting.
He inspected the main dais, public arena, parking and other arrangements being made at the venue. As around 25 lakh people are expected for the meeting, the Chief Minister wanted fool proof arrangements. He suggested for developing more roads from the ORR to the meeting venue to ease traffic congestion. He directed the party leaders to take necessary permissions from the authorities concerned and also develop the roads using the party funds.
Chandrashekhar Rao was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali, Ministers Nayini Narsimha Reddy, KT Rama Rao, C Laxma Reddy, P Mahender Reddy, Government Whip Palla Rajeshewar Reddy, Mission Bhagiratha Vice Chairman Vemula Prashanth Reddy, MPs K Keshava Rao, J Santosh Kumar, Balka Suman, MLAs Teegala Krishna Reddy, Manchireddy Kishan Reddy, MLCs Karne Prabhakar, Shambipur Raju, GHMC Mayor Bothu Rammohan and other party leaders and also officials.
