Journalists Will Get Houses, Health Cards, Metro Rail Passes: KTR
Hyderabad, Nov.15 (Maxim News): Trying to allay fears and dissuade displeasure among mediapersons of non-committal of TRS boss and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on keeping the promise of providing two-bedroom housing facility, health cards and free travel in Hyderabad Metro Rail to them, Caretaker Minister KT Rama Rao today affirmed that he will take personal care of the issues.
Speaking at the Meet-the-Press at Somajiguda Press Club here KT Rama Rao said, “I am aware of the Journalists’ issues pertaining to housing facility and health cards and will resolve them with total commitment soon. I will take personal care to resolve these genuine issues immediately on getting back to power on December 12 when the results of the Assembly polls will be announced, he declared.
“I will talk about providing free passes in Hyderabad Metro Rail for the scribes and any other issues only after December 12 when the poll results will be out”, he vowed. Extending thanks to scribes as some of them aired their views that the TRS will retain power. When a scribe insisted, KTR said he was not wishing to become chief minister as the TRS boss will take up the mantle on getting mandate in the elections.
To another query whether all the MLAs of the TRS make a favour in this regard, KTR smoothly denied saying that he was not vying to become chief minister. On being asked about the TRS campaigning for the polls, he said KCR will intensify his campaigning in the public meetings. (Maxim News)
