Balkampet Yellamma Kalyanothsavam From Today: Talasani

Hyderabad, July 7 (Maxim News): Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav inspected Balkampet Yellamma Temple premises in Balkampet here ahead of Kalyana Mahotsavalu beginning on July 8. The minister interacted with the officials and asked them to provide better arrangements for the devotees coming to worship the presiding deity.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said Kalyana Utsavalu will begin on July 9 from 9 am to 12.30 pm. The officials made arrangements to view the rituals to mark the festivities. Srinivas said that he and Endowment Minister A Indrakaran Reddy will attend the program and offer silk clothes and Talambralu to the goddess on behalf of the government. The ritual will begin on July 8 at 5.30 am with Ganapathi puja and goddess will be taken out on a temple chariot on to the streets for people darshan a tradition being followed for quite some years now. The festivities will conclude on third day, he added. (Maxim News)
