Telugu Comedian Venu Madhav No More
Hyderabad, Sept.25 (Maxim News): Popular Telugu Comedian and actor Venu Madhav passed away here on Wednesday. He was 39. Venu Madhav, who was admitted to Hospital on Tuesday, was in a critical condition and was in the ICU on ventilator support. The actor had been reportedly suffering from long-standing liver and kidney-related problems and was on dialysis. He is survived by his wife and two children.
Venu Madhav was born in 1969 near Kodad in Nalgonda district. He first featured in films in a minor role in Sampradayam and then in the 1997 Telugu movie Master. Later on, he featured in many films in Telugu and Tamil and became a dependable character artiste in the Telugu film industry. He is said to have acted in more than 600 films.
He was spotted by director SV Krishna Reddy when he was performing a mimicry show in Ravindra Bharathi and it was he who introduced Venu Madhab to the Telugu film industry.
He acted in many films including Lakshmi for which he won the Nandi Award, Sye, Pokiri,and many other memorable hit films. He went on to star in several popular Telugu films including “Master”, “Tholi Prema”, “Nuvve Nuvve”, “Yuvaraju”, “Dil”, aceSimhadri” and “Arya”.
However, in December last, he showed interest in contesting the Assembly elections and even filed nomination papers from Kodad assembly constituency. (Maxim News)
