CPI Extends Total Support To General Strike & Rural Areas Bandh
Vijayawada, Jan.4 (Maxim News): AP CPI secretary K. Ramakrishna said his party was extending its complete support to the general strike and rural areas bandh proposed by different labour organisations and trade unions on January 8. He also said the party would organize a nationwide bandh against the “anti-people” policies of the Union government on January 9.
Speaking after releasing a poster on the agitation program here, Ramakrishna alleged that while the people in the country were suffering a lot, the corporate companies in the country were making huge profits. Alleging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi government was going ahead with its “communal” agenda, the CPI leader said the Centre had brought the Triple Talaq Act, CAA and revoked Article 370 to implement its “communal” agenda in the country. He made it clear that his party was strongly opposing the CAA in the country. (Maxim News)
