Proponents Of Three-Capital Theory Will Be Swept Away In “Tsunami”: Chandrababu
Amaravati, Jan.14 (Maxim News): Describing shifting of State capital Amaravati like a tsunami, former chief minister and TDP national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday said all those who try to mess up with the “tsunami” would be swept away in its fury.
Addressing the Amaravati Parirakshana Samithi agitators at Benz circle in Vijayawada, Chandrababu Naidu said Amaravati has a rich history and there was a need to protect its historic importance. Reiterating that there was no need to shift the State capital, he said the existing capital has all the infrastructure to rule the State. He also said not a single rupee was required to be spent on building any building in the State capital now. Naidu made it clear that the Vizag city cannot be developed just by building two to three buildings and the districts like Srikakulam and Vizianagaram were far away from Vizag city.
Reiterating his demand that the ruling party seek re-election on the issue of the shifting of the State capital and creation of three new capitals, Naidu said he would leave politics if the people once again elect the voted for the ruling YSRCP. He said all political parties that support the three capitals theory would be wiped out from the political scene in the State. He also claimed that the three capital system was not in force in any other country, he added. (Maxim News)
