Cong Says Govt Should Think On Farmers’ Issues
Hyderabad, Feb.18 (Maxim News): Congress Party MLC T. Jeevan Reddy said state government should think about services to be extended to farmers rather than only focusing on winning cooperative sector elections. He alleged that the state government had stopped the interest waiver on farm loans availed by the farmers.
He also alleged that the authorities were charging the interest rates being charged by the commercial Banks. He said that the farmers of the state were bearing the hamali charges as the state government had stopped the payment of the same. He however conceded that the party had failed to stop the victory of ruling TRS party in the state in cooperative elections. (Maxim News)
