Hyderabad, August 31 (Maxim News): Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday unveiled new logos for three key municipal corporations in the Greater Hyderabad region.
The Chief Minister unveiled the logos during his visit to Moosarambagh. The new identities cover the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation and Cyberabad Municipal Corporation.
The state government recently divided the existing GHMC administration into three municipal corporations. The move aims to improve administrative convenience and bring civic services closer to residents.
The new Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation and Cyberabad Municipal Corporation were created as part of the restructuring. GHMC will continue as one of the three civic bodies under the new arrangement.
New Logos Mark Civic Administration Restructuring
The new GHMC logo has attracted attention because it marks a fresh identity for the civic body after about a decade. The government has presented the new logos as part of its broader administrative changes.
According to the government, the restructuring reflects Hyderabad’s expansion and the need for more accessible civic administration. The division seeks to make municipal governance more responsive to the growing needs of different areas.
The three corporations will have their own identities under the new administrative structure. Their separate logos are expected to help establish distinct civic identities among residents.
The government said the restructuring focuses on administrative convenience. It also aims to bring governance and public services closer to people.
Revanth Reddy formally unveiled the logos during his Moosarambagh visit. Public representatives and senior government officials attended the programme.
The new structure comes as Hyderabad continues to expand across its urban and suburban areas. The government has therefore linked the creation of the new corporations with the need for more effective local administration.
