Hyderabad: The city police on Tuesday caught one person who was allegedly organising cricket betting at Tukaramgate and seized Rs 45,000 cash and two mobile phones from them.
Acting on a tip off, the Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force (North) team caught K Sudheer (46) a resident of Marredpally and a native of Nalgonda district.
“Sudheer was organising cricket betting in the city in association with a native of Rajasthan. He was in touch with 25 punters and was organising the betting,” said K Nageshwar Rao, Inspector Task Force (North).
The man along with the property was handed over to the Tukaramgate police for further action.
